Tax reform and its effect on competitiveness of Ukrainian agri products

In December 2015 a new Bill “On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the balance of budget revenues in 2016” was approved by Ukrainian Parliament.

This means that from January 1, 2016 taxation system for agricultural producers in Ukraine will have a significant change.

Tax reform and its effect on competitiveness of Ukrainian agri products will be examined by Oleg Chayka, Director, KPMG Ukraine within theXIII International conference “Black Sea Grain-2016”.

During 2001-2006  Oleg Chayka worked in International Corporate Tax (ICT), KPMG Canada, where he became a Senior Manager. In Canada, Oleg specialized in international planning and structuring of investments, developed and implemented effective international taxation schemes, participated in creation of effective mechanisms for repatriation to Canada of foreign income and financing of foreign companies, supervised preparation of tax returns for income tax companies, also provided advice on tax issues.

In January 2007, Oleg began working in tax and legal department of KPMG. In Ukraine, Oleg is specializing in tax and legal structuring of investments in and from Ukraine, analysis of tax and legal status of Ukrainian companies, revenues and profits repatriated from Ukraine, financing of business projects, as well as corporate reorganization and restructuring of the business.
